CONGO AFRICAN GREY PARROT ... INTELLIGENT AND SMART GREY FOR ADOPTION

I have a female African Grey Parrot up for adoption. She laid her first clutch of 4 eggs in 2010. This bird was purchased to keep my grandparents occupied. They are both gone now and the bird doesnt get the attention it needs. I think this will be a good breeding bird if someone is intereseted in that opportunity. The bird doesnt have any bad behaviors except singing and talking too much.. hehe She loves her head scratched.
She was born spring of 1996. Have a large white macaw cage included... I have almost $2,000 invested in her. Will let her go to the best rehoming fee offer.

I have thirteen well home trained African grey parrots, very adorable and friendly, they love human company and they have been cage trained.
They live together with humans and play with them, and they go along well with other animals in the house.

African Grey couple, Disco and Pretty Girl, are approaching the next chapter in their lives, and must find a new place to call home.
They are friendly, incredibly intelligent and in great health.. Disco and Pretty Girl prefer to remain a pair rather than be split-up to solitude.
Pretty Girl may be distinguished apart from her partner by a slight abnormality in her claws. (One toe less than the other) This has never presented an issue in her health or comfort.
Disco and Pretty Girl may breed. They both have papers!!
Approximately 12 years old, well groomed, friendly towards humans, unsure of their behavior towards other animals...
Birds and cage available for adoption with rehoming fee. Willing to sell at half price, cannot post amount.
Additional stands, cages, and accessories are for sale. EVERYTHING IS NEGOTIABLE!!!!!
For serious inquiries, please contact Marissa via EMAIL for more information, or TEXT 847.238.2537. NO CALLS PLEASE!
Thanks

The Green-cheeked Conure is probably the most-recognized species of Pyrrhura. In the wild, Green-cheeked Conures are found in the highlands of Eastern Bolivia. The Green-cheeked Conure is about 10 inches in length, including the long, pointed tail feathers that are characteristic of conure. The Green-cheeked Conure is a very social, interactive, boisterous, and playful bird when raised as a pet. Like all Pyrrhura, they can go through a nippy phase when they are a few months of age, but this phase usually passes in a few weeks so long as the pet owner provides consistent boundaries and doesn't reinforce the behavior. Pyrrhura Conures are known as the "quiet conures" and do not have the high-pitched vocalization that many Aratinga conures species exhibit. Of course, if you have more that one bird, the noise will increase as they call back and forth to each other
More reasons why a Green-Cheek Conure? 8 reasons to own one!
1. They are not loud compared to other parrots and conures. They are in the Pyrrhura genus and make about one half the noise of a Sun or Jenday Conure which makes them ideal for condos or apartments.
2. They are small birds with big bird personalities! They play just like a large parrot or macaw - they will use their feet to hold things, roll on their back to play or sleep. They love to wrestle with and then be scratched by their favorite human.
3. They are easy to feed and not as destructive as a large parrot.
4. They are easy to house with their ideal size they can use most cockatiel cages and they do not need the heavy bars of a more expensive cage.
5. Green-Cheeks have oil glands they use to preen their feathers and do not create the dust found
on cockatiels, cockatoos, and African Grey Parrots.
6. Besides their personality and ideal size, Green-Cheeks can be found in many beautiful colors.
7. People with pets, especially seniors, have lower blood pressure, are happier, and live longer lives.
8. Tame Green-Cheeked Conures are very interactive with people. They are bold and very personable but with individual personalities.
I have five babies at 7wks old, their are ready to go home around 10wks to 12wks old. Im taking deposits to hold..
Yellowside males, and Pineapple female These are mutations from the normal (green) Greencheek..
These are siblings so i would not suggest a male and female in
the chance of them bonding and breeding in the future. Unless you have
no intentions of breeding them you should be fine. I also suggest one
baby if you want them to bond with you only, they will be more
personal with u if you get only one.
Super sweet babies, will male wonderful pets for any age, any home....
Pls email for make time to visit

We would like to adopt an older or a rescued male Ringneck Parakeet.
We had one for many years and he was a rescued older bird when he was given to us, but he passed away last year .....and although we know we can never replace him, still we can give any bird in need of TLC a loving home here with us, but because 'beggars can't be choosers' if you have another type bird in great need of TLC, please let us know.
By the way, we can give you many good references about us.
"Serious inquiries only, please". Thank you.
