Lolita is a 4 months old white face grey female cockatiel girl we got for our son, but he lost interest in her, and as a busy mom, I don't have enough time to play with her as she deserves. so we decide to find her a new loving home. she was hand tamed, we got her from african grey. and is on cockatiel food, with fresh diced fruits and vegis every two days. she chirps a lot when you play the music. will take food from hand after she knows you. but definately need some time and love to warm up with her and work with her, since my son only talks to her but doen't take her out often.
will go with some food and beddings we have left. and the cage. rehoming fee 130 for everything. which is barely one third of what we paid for her and her stuff.

Recently I have had a lot of parrots that my Mother and I had sold out of our pet store show back up on my door step. It breaks my heart, because I have spent so much time working with these birds, and its all gone to waste. PLEASE. Only SERIOUS inquires. I have a Double Yellow Headed Amazon looking for a forever home. She is approximately 3 years old, almost getting her full yellow on her head. She is really sweet, with some very interesting noises! She is working with her actual words.
I also have an African Congo Grey, She is SUPER sweet, will let any one pick her up, and is UNDER a year old. She will be ONE year in June. She started to pluck because of her last owners not being able to give her enough attention. I have finally got her to the point where she is not plucking hardly at all, and she is actually growing her feathers back.

As I said earlier, I'm tired of seeing my beloved parrots not being taken care of. I have put in A LOT of time working with these birds and getting them to be perfect companions, and many of the birds I had in my pet store came from homes where they were neglected or abused. It takes a lot of work to get a parrot to trust again and in good health, and it literally makes my heart break and brings a tear to my eye to see that so many people don't understand these amazing creatures, and what it takes to keep them healthy and happy. So please, do not call me if you do not have large bird experience.
I also have a Blue Fronted Amazon needing a home, I am watching her for 2 weeks while her owner is out of town. I wish to keep her though, I'd like to sell my African Grey, so I can keep the Blue Front. It took me such a long time to get through to the blue front, and there has been TREMENDOUS emotional issues in the house hold she is living in. I know the bird personally, and would like to keep her so I know she will be returned to the state I had her in before I sold her to a family. She is however for sale, as her owner wants to sell her.
