Non-parrot request

I would love to have an icon of a mockingbird with a cheeky expression and the words "sez you!" or "arteest" on it. I've been looking at mockingbird pix on Google, but nothing comes out right on ElJay Icon Maker. I have very unl33t skillz when it comes to visual stuff. Anybody bored and wanna help me out here?

Parroticon MADNESS!!!

Hey guys! Newbie here! I LOVE to make parrot icons and I almost started a community for it but found you guys. So, here are some of my recent creations, most of them are animated. Please comment with what you think/ if you have requests/ if you're taking. Credit is not necessary but appreciated.

Again, comments are awesome! I currently have a request for a Senegal and a Quaker so if you want those they'll be coming soon :>

Icons ahoy!

Massive amounts of parrot icons under this cut, with MANY species (including some rare/obscure ones), and almost all of them either wild or in a zoo/sanctuary setting. Free-flying quakers, wild cockatiels, red-necked Amazons in the forest, a baby Spix's macaw, just all sorts of birds. Whee. Each image, when clicked, should take you to the LJ scrapbook page that will give the species name; hovering your mouse over them should give you the species name, too.

And I do also take requests. ;)

Offerings and requests

Hi, parrot lovers! I have two small offerings and the same number of requests.

Both of these icons were based on the same picture of Fuzz, who belongs to

greaseyreesey, and were made with ElJay Icon Maker. Credit is not necessary.

I would like to ask for two icons, featuring cockatiels if possible, but other parrots are also welcome (and even mourning doves, like in many of my icons). One should express the theme of "LOL!" and the other of "OMG!" (If you look at my userpics, you'll see I have a couple of fannish icons with those keywords; I'd like to replace them with avian icons.)

Quaker icon

I made this Quaker icon today. As always free to use no permission needed yadda yadda.

Made by me with photoshop, source of photo of quaker is from google images. Credit is nice, but never required, just don't claim credit. ;) Batteries not included.

Yay! Great idea for a community. :-D This is all I've got for now... I've been working a lot of extra hours lately, but there will be more icons sometime in the near future.

This one speaks the truth about my Bella. She always has to shove her fluffy, little butt in every picture. Heaven forbid Seeker and Snitch have their own picture!

Did someone say parrot icons?

Random fact about

selasphorus: She LOVES making bird icons. :D I've got a HUGE collection of bird photographs on my harddrive (290 MB, currently), the vast majority being wild birds or birds in zoos/rehabilitation situations.

I figured that with this new community, I'd share a huge batch of the parrot icons I've previously made. :) They're all textless; if you'd like me to put text on 'em, I can do that, or if you'd like to, go ahead. I appreciate comments to let me know people like 'em and wanna use 'em, and I appreciate credit, too, but as long as you don't claim you made it yourself, I'm good. And yes, I do take requests, and quite gladly. :) The more obscure the better, in fact!

These icons are uploaded via LJ Scrapbook; click on the icon and it should take you to a page where I titled the icon after the bird species.

To start out the community, here are a few icons. If you want to credit you can credit greenteaturtle, although she said there was no need to credit. =P
